And it happened on the day we learned that Lyndon Byers, another tough guy of his era, had CTE. To go from hero's welcome at his shop to suicide in four days, something had to be seriously up.

No details, but TMZ is reporting that the cause of death was suicide.

Intense mood swings and issues regulating emotions are pretty common symptoms of CTE. Given his playing style and career length, it would be shocking if Lemieux wasn't dealing with that.
