Will someone finish the last strip or will it run Monty Python & the Holy Grail style -- "The Castle of Aaaauuuggghhhh" "What is that?" "He must have died while carving it."

Dude that's horribly offensive.

Save me a spot in hell I laughed too.

Offensive, no. Sick and in extremely poor taste, yes.

Have you ever heard of B.C. "Before Christ" and A.D. "After Death" ... that was how my public school taught it :)

OK, I'll do it.
"Maybe he was dictating."

Really?

Then how did they account for the years between B.C. and what they were telling you A.D. meant?

To be honest, I wasn't paying attention ... religion talk makes me sleepy ...

I did ask the Catholic wife, the resident religion expert in my home, and she explained that you're right about 33 years between BC and AD and reasoned (After Death) is sort of an ignorant protestant thing ...

Does this mean someone else will now spew religious propoganda on the comics page?

BC to AD = IT WAS A FRIGGIN JOKE, JUST ROLL WITH IT A-HOLES!
I know what it stands for. Jeez.

Um, do you even know what religion Johnny Hart claimed as his own? Without looking, I mean. Because I sure couldn't tell from his comic strips. I also never felt preached at when I read them, nor did I feel I was swallowing anyone's "propaganda."

All I knew was that he was obviously a spiritual man, and wtf is wrong with that?

RIP, Johnny.

He could be preachy at times.
