A tribute to Herb at the Cavs game tonight. Joe Tait gave a brief eulogy, saying he knew Herb wouldn't want a somber gathering, so everyone should stand up and cheer goodbye.

I doubt Mr. Bob Feller had someone write this for him, so I'm even more impressed by how perfect (and classy) the quote is:

"Herb Score, who was signed by the same scout, Cy Slapnicka, as I was, would've been just as good if not better than Sandy Koufax if it wouldn't have been for his injury to his eye. And Sandy Koufax was the best pitcher I ever saw in my lifetime. Herb was a very dear friend of mine."
