RIP Edwin Jackson (Colts LB)

I know it got a mention in the Super Bowl thread, but I think this story is just horrific and shouldn't get lost in the shuffle.

Jackson apparently took an Uber home early Sunday morning and asked the driver to pull over on the side of Interstate 70. While they were both out of the car, they got hit by a drunk driver and both Jackson and the Uber driver were killed.

Today it turns out the police have identified the drunk driver as a twice previously deported immigrant here illegally.

Awful. Read about it yesterday afternoon here in Indy. Didn't watch any Super Bowl pregame so not sure if it was mentioned on NBC. Made me wonder how famous in NFL circles you'd have to be to die the morning of the SB and get mentioned on the air during the game. Jackson wouldn't make the cut but would a lesser-name Pro Bowl player? A Hall-of-Famer? Or only a household-name player/coach/owner? Just one of those dumb hypotheticals I'd only ask around here.
