Cynical me says as long as they're still getting a ratings bump. The truth is, there have been very, very few new developments that warrant being a lead at this point. Some early "former FBI type" said it best early on, if whoever was responsible could provide proof of life, they would have by now.
I'm surprised how many of you still watch television news. I don't so I don't see a whole lot about her mom
 
Somewhere, I still have my sturdy cardboard "Vote for Jesse" sign from his 1984 campaign.

Watched the general election returns with some college friends, who were unanimously pro-Reagan. Wonder how many of them, looking back, regret their choice?

He was the leader of "black America" (however you want to define that) between MLK and Barack Obama, but ultimately will not be as remembered 100 years from now as either of them.
 
Three days after Jackson's death, apparently the federal government doesn't feel he merits lowering flags to half-staff. (Individual states have done so.) That recognition is reserved for pivotal public figures such as Charlie Kirk.
