Have to admit, I have not thought of Dave Mirra or even heard his name in a very long time. But the second I did, I was reminded of how much fun I had watching guys like him and Mat Hoffman do ridiculous flips and spins on a half pipe when I was super into the X Games stuff. He was like the Tony Hawk of BMXing in the late 90s, early 2000s.

Pretty shocking news. RIP.
