Whatever happened to my Transylvania Twist?

Spnited is right on, it's one of the all-time greatest novelty songs. It was one of the first records I ever bought, as a single on the old Parrot label way back in the early 70s.

I know I should just RIP and be on my merry way, but God how I hate Monster Mash. And whatever the hell its sequel was.
