Hell, I wonder if he even read "Juiced," much less wrote it. He told somebody a few things he knew and threw in a good bit of educated guessing. Now he wants to take credit for making the game better when all he really wanted to do was make some money and lash out at MLB because he couldn't handle the fact that his career was over. I remember the interviews at the time, he was going on and on about being blackballed even though the truth was his skills had deteriorated and his body kept breaking down.
Sounds to me like this is all about making it look as if he made some noble sacrifice.
