Anyone have an iPhone app they recommend to record interviews?

Do they work pretty well without extra equipment or is a or something needed?

Also, is there an easy way to record phone interviews with an iPhone?

I just use the voice memos app that was installed on my phone. The sound quality is better than the Olympus digital recorder that I use. I record on both devices so I have a back-up.

I use a free app Voice Record Pro, and it is excellent.

I've even recorded concerts with it.

I got introduced to Evernote which you can use to record interviews, add notes and email to yourself or sync with an account that you can access on your computer. Not having the ability to add software to my work machine, I just use the email feature.

I just used this for the first time ... Free Online Time Stretcher | OnlineToneGenerator.com ... worked like a charm. All you have to do is upload your file (which I usually email to myself and download from the computer).

Highly recommend Voice Record Pro app. I use the free version which is fine. Thing I like best is that the moment I'm done recording I can save the file to Google Drive (or Dropbox or other things) and it will be waiting for me when I return to my laptop.

I use Quick Voice Pro. Paid a little to get the full version, which allows you to email big files and listen to them on a computer.

Voice Memo and Voice Record Pro are both good.

If you're using your phone to record anything, make sure to turn it to airplane mode so the recording isn't interrupted by texts/calls/notifications.

I use iTalk. They have a free version and paid version.

I use TapeACall for over the phone. $10/yr and it's real good quality. Also it can be emailed, etc.
I use the voicememo app otherwise.
