Pioneering sports radio host Eddie Andelman dies
One of my favorite stories was that Don Zimmer, when he was managing the Sox, didn’t want to hear his name on their show anymore, so they started calling him Chiang Kai-Shek. Andelman also hated the Bruins management, and if a caller phoned in to talk Bruins, he’d play a tick-tick-tick sound in the background and then “blow up” the call.
