Hi guys, I have a question when it comes to punctuating a certain phrase. I've seen the Bears offense written this way and also the Bears' offense. What is correct and why?

Either can be correct. You can use it as as adjective (no apostrophe) or as a possessive.

It's usually only an issue of confusion because of the plural nature of team nicknames. Much easier to visualize with singular nicknames.

This looks like the Crimson Tide offense from the 70s (adjective). This looks like the Crimson Tide's offense (possessive).
