You’d think if a story is so important it’s worthy of a Pulitzer, the perpetrator of it would be a household name. I bet 99 percent of Americans can’t name the “shooter,” including me.

I'm not a conspiracy theorist in the least, and I really don't want to give shooters the attention they craved (its used as fuel for other would-be shooters) - but I am surprised those that knew him haven't been heard from.

The Washington Post’s boasting is tainted by the exit of their winner for illustrated reporting and commentary, Ann Telnaes, because she felt squelched by the editorial page editor.

That editor later resigned after a separate intrusion into editorial page decisions by Post owner Jeff Bezos.

Same here. When he told his aides to wait so he could put on his shoes, that made it obvious. Then they just happened to have a photog there with the correct angle to get his fist-pumping act in front of the flag. A few minutes later, the dastardly news media interviewed an onlooker who said he and his friend saw the guy with the rifle on the roof before the shooting and he told police, who did nothing.
