Not sure anyone has spit out (in this case that's a compliment) more copy the last, oh, 2 years (maybe 3) than Charles Pierce on Esquire's political blog. He's a machine and there's little wasted energy. There are times I wish he'd stick to the straight ABCDEFG instead of getting all, how you say, Molokai, but if you want to get learned about every facet, every corner of the landscape of American politics, he's the top read.
He never stops which is why you sometimes might overlook a post, like this evisceration of Kristol:

I was all into Taibbi for a few years but gave him a break. I would pay a few bucks to hear a podcast with Pierce and Taibbi. I think they're pretty much the 2 top dogs though there are others I probably haven't heard about.
