Since kicking off is an integral part of being a kicker, I'd say that gives Hanson an edge. Since Carney is 43rd in kickoff average I'd say Hanson, like most Detroit fans who pay for Lions tickets, was stiffed.

And the reasons he was stiffed are that he plays for the oh-for-the-season Lions and the NFL doesn't have MLB's every-team-must-be-repped rule.

I get it. But the guy was still stiffed. And I hate that rule in MLB.

Frankly, Sam, I don't know if LT will ever be what he was. I think this might be a particularly glaring example of the short shelf life for running backs.

Letting go of Michael Turner after Tomlinson's selling out his team in the AFC Championship was a massive mistake.

Some of us -- not mentioning any names, of course -- saw this coming two years ago.
