We're one year into the Biden presidency. Who do you want to vote for in 2024?

We'll do this, the world willing, in January 2023 and 24 as well.

DOTB. He's just so old and tired and unable to inspire and excite the masses.

And his speech writers really are doing him no favors.

Biden is serving his purpose of not being Trump and giving the country a chance to stop overheating. It’s not working yet but better than the alternative. Before the Georgia results gave Dems the senate, they’d have been thrilled with a halt of Trumpism and general stasis.

But there must be an effort to find someone other than Biden and someone other than Harris who can slug it out with Trump in the Midwest to at least a draw and inspire enough to get the turnout.

Would love to see someone other than Biden, but short of him dying or pulling an LBJ how do you get him out of the way? Any non-Biden ticket will be interpreted as "See? Even the libtards are admitting Biden was a failure!"

Seriously? We're 10 months out from the midterms -- which means THIRTY-FOUR MONTHS until the presidential election. Come on. Quit your trolling.

Damn thing is, neither side can produce a blue-chip candidate anymore.
Who would want that job these days? Anyone really good is smart enough to think, "Hey, **** that bull****."

Seriously? Come on. Get real yourself. Trump already is working all of his demented angles.
It's too bad it has become such a war, but you'll get your ass kicked if you aren't building strategies now.

Let's not mistake culture for politics. Our culture has been moving generally to what we describe as "the left" for the last 50 years. Our politics, to the right.

So I'm not sure the designations 'Republican' and 'Democrat' as used here mean much.

Biden, like Obama before him, governs as a Centrist. A Rockefeller Republican.

The 'radical' wing of the Democratic party - AOC, Sanders, et al. - is no farther left than Harry Truman was in the late 1940s.

Trump is a fascist, not a Republican. That's where the American right has led us. Sorry, but it's true.

'Republicans,' to the extent they refuse to repudiate Trump, and as we see them now in statehouses and in the House and the Senate, can also be thought of as fascists. Their agenda is not to govern, but to destroy government. They're doing exactly what Grover Norquist told us they would do. We've arrived at the 'drown it in the bathtub' part of the plan.* Again, sorry, but true.

There is no viable 'third' party.

Good luck, America.

*"My goal is to cut government in half in twenty-five years, to get it down to the size where we can drown it in the bathtub."
