Somewhere out there
This isn't a serious problem, but it's serious enough to make me turn to you guys.

I'm sure I'm not the only person on this board to face this problem. See, I type. A lot. So much so, that the lettering on my laptop's keyboard has chipped off for the letters "A, S, E, D, C and L". Now, I can still write without seeing them, as my hands have kind of memorized the position to the point I don't have to look at the keyboard but it's truly an eyesore.

I tried using a whiteout pen to fill the letters in and that worked OK at first but after a while I was no better off than when I started.

My question is....has this ever happened to you and if so, what should I do to fix it?

Thanks in advance.

If you really don't want to spend a few bucks on a keyboard, try writing the letters with nail polish.

It's not that I don't want to spend the money on a keyboard, I just don't want to carry around a keyboard and try to awkwardly balance it on my lap.

And BBAM, I'm not too worried about people finding my porn. I all but have it as a screen saver.

Now that I actually look, laptop replacement keyboards are more expensive than I thought. What a rip.

My biggest problem is that the sites you guys have listed don't have my model (Toshiba Satellite A-135 S4656). I'm wary about buying just any keys because I don't want to waste my money and won't find out if they're the right ones until I put them in.
