"OK, Boomer" has been trending today.
I am (or at least should be) well on record as being a critic of most Baby Boomers.
They are locusts. They've devoured resources for years, and when you ask them to give back, all heck breaks loose.
The thing that cracks me up most about this is it's an internet war between Boomers and Millennials/Gen Z.
Just like always, us proud Gen Xers just kind of quietly do our own thing and take care of our business.

Why are Gen Z, millennials using 'OK boomer' to call out Baby Boomers?

The sad thing is, the last of them will die out about the time I hit retirement age, so I'm guessing they'll have to drag me out of the office in a hearse.

This is the best explanation of "OK, boomer" I've found:

And so that’s what it meant when @Slacker (a so millennial name) tried to throw shade. Like most millennials, he failed

To borrow from a term @Azrael loves so much, aren't we in a post-millennial generation now?

And those are the ones that people my age -- 48, heart and soul of Gen X -- are raising?

What's that say about Gen X?

That's what I'm talkin' bout.
I wear it like a badge of honor.

As a late (1961) Boomer, I apologize.

I wish there could have been another world war/Holocaust so we could have done all those sacrifice thingys. But all we could do was protest all the senseless wars since then.

And I'm sorry I bought that Oldsmobile Ninety-Eight Regency in 1980 that got only 17 mpg. When I asked the salesman if he had any hybrid cars, he didn't know what to make of me.

I haven't spent a day in a hospital, so give me credit for not exhausting our healthcare resources. And I'm still (at least) 41 months away from exhausting any Social Security benefits.

So again, I'm sorry. For whatever it was I did.

May you live in uninteresting times...
