You may be asking yourself how do you do a Ryder Cup Pool. Well, here's how:
1. For each day, you pick four golfers. Two Europeans and two Americans. You score a point for each point they score (half points awarded for tied matches). For Saturday matches, you may list two alternates (one Euro, one US) in case someone in your foursome doesn't play in either.
2. You're allowed to play one European and one American twice during the Ryder Cup competition. This includes your alternates. See my team in the post below for an example.
3. Winner is the team that accrues the most points.
4. Tiebreaker -- in the event of a tie, I will compile the total match scores of your players, awarding (or subtracting) a point for each match difference. Ex: If a player wins a match 4 and 3 he gets 4 points. If he loses 1 up, he loses 1 point. The player with the most points wins. If there's still a tie, then there's a tie damnit.
5. Picks are due in by 3 a.m. ET Friday, Sept. 22
