Didn't Pepper's brother die, and Pepper undergo some sort of gastric bypass to lose a ton of weight?

They haven't sounded the same since that album. Not even on Blues Brothers 2000.

He had a heart attack, which prompted him to get gastric bypass.

The band's original bass player, Bobby Sheehan, ODed in 1999.

When Popper used to go on Howard Stern's show, he often would talk about guns and shooting, etc. so I wasn't surprised when I saw that he had a cache of weapons in his truck.

I was never a fan - the shrillness of the harmonica made my ears hurt.
