Aside from the color scheme, I don't understand this trend of making numbers completely indecipherable. The whole point of putting numbers on jerseys is that you can read them and tell one player from the next. A 4 looks like a 9, 8 like a 0, what the **** ?

The numbers are going to be impossible to see from the press box, especially at Arizona State.

Haven't you seen enough newspaper redesigns to know that designers don't care about utility, they care only about their vision of what's cool?

There aren't any. No TV numbers and other numbers you can't read. Wonderful...

Or if there's a lot of ****ing fog in Oregon....It was terrible watching that game last year. You couldn't see a damn thing, let alone make out those numbers on Oregon's jerseys.

Still beats anything Tennessee wears. Or, for that matter, the home jerseys for Texas, which look liked 12-million-year-old sunburned yak dung.

Tennessee's away uniforms are some of the best-looking in country. The home uniforms ... well, I went there, so I like them. I can, however, see why people don't like them. But as a superfan of college football in general, I like classic-looking uniforms and am disgusted by those Oregon unis.

The dark-colored ones aren't so horrible, but the urine-colored one is horrific and the numbers are atrocious as well.
