And the Seahawks have a long tradition of going deep into the playoffs. The Kingdome used to rock the ears of the non-believers.

Too bad they're not in the KINGDOME Sunday AND that the KINGDOME isn't around anymore.

The Kingdome was a fun place to watch games. It was very loud. I have a lot of good memories of watching games there. Though, I only went to two Seahawks game - one a preseason waxing of the 49ers and the other a regular season win over the Bucs back when they still had the hideous orange colors.

Not sure what that means, but I do remember there should have been a pass interference call on the last play of the game against the Seahawks (first time the refs ever went in their favor ) and the Bucs wide receiver broke his helmet in half on the field. It was an impressive display of Kingdome concrete.

Just to clear up my previous post since it is being drug into a pissing match. I never said no Bears had been deep into the playoffs, I was trying to say the Seahawks have more playoff experience.

Since only NFC fans apparently post on this board, what does everyone think of the AFC matchups?
I think the Patriots-Chargers matchup could potentially be one of the great games for years to come. In some senses it is similar to the Bears game with Rivers and Grossman sucking so bad at times, but the difference for the Chargers is they have Tomlinson.
Thoughts?

Rivers is, indeed, the wild card. Kid's never played in a playoff game. That's a lot of pressure, especially against a team with tons of playoff experience. Hope the Chargers win, but not counting on it.
