New York Times shrinking

I think they're following USA Today, which downsized several months back.

And following almost every other major paper in the country, including The Wall Street Journal, which was the size of a blanket until this year.

They just shrunk/shrank/shrinked about five years ago - as did just about every other paper - when paper prices shrunk. Wonder what the total of shrinkage is ...

2much, not only is Rock Springs still wide but the Laramie Boomerang is, too. Those papers just look wrong next to any others.

I don't know about that, crusoes. I swear USA TODAY has looked smaller in size in recent weeks. I could be wrong, though. :)

Got a copy this am . It's kind of cute. The biggest affect that it will have on me is that it will no longer be a good weapon against those that recline their airline seats while sitting in front of me.

You could carry an unabridged dictionary and slap it on the trayback in front of you.

Too obvious. The Times was perfect because top part of paper just happened to "flop" as I read.

The smaller paper does not seem to floop as much.
