Thank goodness Lee Fowler finally showed a spine.

This is the only reason losing to East Carolina is somewhat bearable ... I get the feeling Chuck would have been granted another year for pulling off that incredible feat.

Norm Chow would be a fun hire, and David Cutcliffe would also work. Maybe it's time someone gave Steve Kragthorpe at Tulsa a courtesy call.

That would be a good hire, but I doubt State will have the guts. People will ***** and whine about option football being boring and how you can get good recruits, but whatever. If the guy can win with kids who need a 1350 on their SATs just to get into school (and no special exceptions for football players), imagine what he could do with kids scoring 750 or whatever it takes to get into State with the football program greasing the admissions department.

You know who should hire Paul Johnson though? Duke. They have nothing to lose frankly, and he could win six or seven games there consistently, and probably occasionally win 9 games once every five years.
