Got mine in the mail today. Heading to a friend's house for a movie and a beer, and now I have something to listen to on the drive. Thanks!

Am listening to Moddy Mix '08 right now -- always brings a smile to my face.
Guess I'm too late to get in on the 2009 version? :) {Dang, December snuck up fast}

I was just listening to 2008, and wondering how I'd missed the 2009 announcement. Can't believe I missed this thread.

The version of Drummer Boy is far and away my favorite of that song. Now just gotta figure out who sings it.

I'll give the answers soon enough - good guess on Norah Jones, it does sound like her. It ain't.

Not too late. I'm sending out a few more Monday but that will be it. Let me know ASAP

Knew the artist on #8 in, like, one bar. Have extensive collection of his stuff, but had never heard this.
Typical solid session work. Well-played.

Me too. I have NEVER heard a version of that song I could even stomach. Almost skipped it when it started. Love it, though.

Moddy, the White Christmas is definitely contemporary. It's not Aguilera, not nasally enough to be Britney, don't hear a twang, so I'm guessing it's not a country crooner. I'm stumped by that one.

Drummer Boy - again, think Christian rock. Not my thing but I like this group.

White Christmas - you know me better than most. What singer rocks my clock? I believe my line one night was, "She'd be hot to me even in an iron lung."

I have a few more going out tomorrow. Will post the song list later in the week.

Holy crap, I have no memory of that...but it's a great line. :D

My next hint would be a total giveaway.
Well, except for this one: I listened to her some earlier today.

Yeah, that doesn't help me much from 7 states away. :D

I looked online, couldn't figure it out. I do like Diana Krall's version, however.

Moddy,

Hats off as usual. Pachelbel is a nice touch. Guess that tells you where I am on first listen.
