Asdrubal Cabrera: Enforcer of baseball's unwritten rules.
How did the left uppercut let it get to this? (The way the home plate ump was following the batter, looked like he expected somebody to throw down.)

Why is Mickey Mantle not just a hall of famer, but a legend?
This is why.
Almost as crazy as Kiffin to Auburn.
I have been to Royals Stadium and loved it. But I think it can be hard to develop much around a baseball stadium in a metro area the size of Kansas City. Kansas City has a population in the metro area of about 2.3 million. Cities that size generally have limited mass transit options Fans are taking cars to the games.re: 1 - the area around all ballparks is kind of artificially depressed, as compared to the "average," which is always why spending public money on ballparks is a bad idea. Like, you'll get a hotel or two, and some bars and restaurants that nowadays almost certainly have to partner with the team. But most ballparks are downtown, where real estate is pricey already, and it's not like banks or tech firms or something else that would generate a ton of taxes "needs" a lot of foot traffic on game nights (mostly) to thrive. One block over from Minute Maid Park are the biggest homeless encampments in Houston. The area around Fenway is kind of OK, but it's probably one of the few exceptions at this point, and arguably, it's because its so old that the city has had generations to grow around it.
Before Kevin Costner pitched a no-hitter, he pitched some brotherly advice ...
That is the worst throwing and swinging I've ever seen in a baseball movie.
Did you see Cruise in A Few Good Men?That is the worst throwing and swinging I've ever seen in a baseball movie.
He was playing men's softball. This guy is being scouted by the Cardinals and has a swing that wouldn't get the ball past the pitcher if he was able to make contact.Did you see Cruise in A Few Good Men?
I messed up, I thought it was a clip with Costner's skills not an actual potential pro.He was playing men's softball. This guy is being scouted by the Cardinals and has a swing that wouldn't get the ball past the pitcher if he was able to make contact.
