Supposedly this is Maurice Clarett's prison blog, which he phones to relatives, who type it up for him:

I actually read the first page of his "blog" today.

Ugh.

Does it mention Grey Goose, or 'Getting his Goose on' anywhere? as more of a good ol days vibe?

Nah, but I could go for a Goose and Sprite right about now.

Clarett was never as good as many made him out to be athletically. He's probably not as bad of a person as some have made him out to be. That being said, he's just a guy getting three hots and a cot telling you nothing new. IMO

I always viewed him as a very average back who took advantage of a great offensive line. He had no explosiveness or burst through the hole and generally ran to what was in front of him.

No offense, but did you guys actually ever see him play in person?

Saw him twice. he was OK. Never as great as many thought he was, IMO.

I didn't have too. He had Rashaan Salaam, who I saw personally, written all over him.

He ran to what was in front of him and didn't have 4.3, 4.4 time looking at him when doing so.

Just my opinion. I always thought he was a bit overrated as a freshman running back.

He was no AD, that's for certain.

Are we believing this?

ESPN.com had a story about his blogging, on which it cited his mother. The blog wasn't named, but I did a search and that came up. Some of the comments from that blog were used in the ESPN.com story. So if it's not him, they've been duped good.

Best play he ever made was on defense.

Anybody willing to give the guy the benefit of the doubt, assume the blog belongs to him, and then commend him for trying to turn his life around and help others?

Morans!

Someone had to write it for him. They don't teach words with more than three syllables at Ohio State.

Does TheOhioStateUniversity count as a single word? Cause that's 10 syllables!

I agree. Chris Wells was as good, if not better.
