In my nine months in TV as a Web editor, we had an election night in which we brought in a local political science college prof. to give analysis. Now, you gotta understand that we've long been the doormat of local TV as the No. 3 station of three in the market. Anways, 20 minutes into the show, this dude's cell phone rings. Next, slightly muffled, you hear this guy say, "God damn it," while reaching for his phone ON AIR!

All I can hear is this sequence from Major League and how appropriate it is.
