Wawa's does it, too. I much prefer the screens, personally, since it's one less thing for human error to screw up.

Although these days, I actually am much more likely to just order on their app, so it's ready when I get there--although for some bizarre reason they don't let you pay on the app, so you still have to stop by the registered.

At QT, when you build something on the touchscreen you have to physically uncheck the things you don't want (sauces, butter, salt, etc.). Seems counterintuitive. You should check the things you DO want.

I was on a newspaper road trip in college and my editor ordered a burger without onions with onion rings. (At BK, if memory serves.) I needled him for it and he said he always ordered fast-food burgers with a change to make sure they made it fresh.

I’d do this, too, because I eat cooked but not raw onions. The acidity of raw onions disturbs my stomach.

LOL. It's true. We took a road trip to Detroit, Toronto, Niagara Falls, and Cleveland. Great trip. Detroit was interesting. Wouldn't go there for a week, but for 36 hours, it was great.

We took several of these recommendations, including the Model T factory/museum, where we took a very cool guided tour, and got to sit in a 1915 Model T.
