When everybody in the neighborhood knew each others name?
When you could keep the shades open on your bedroom window at night without having to worry about a PP Tom looking in them?
When kids actually obeyed their parents and treated adults with respect?
When people still had manners?
When people actually walked around with TIED sneakers? Now kids spend $200 on a pair of hi-tops never tie the laces on them and wear them only like 2-3 times before buying another pair.
When you could watch TV with your family and not have to worry about seeing adult enchanment commercials on tv?
When TV shows did not revolve around sex in every episode?
When music sounded artistic and people actually played their own instruments? It is all keyboards and computers doing the music now.
When guys did NOT wear earings?
When gays minded their own buisness and not shoved their lifestyle down out throats?
When you did not have to finish high school and could get a lifetime job at the local factory without having to worry about outsourcing? Now you need atleast a 4 year degree to manage a McDonald's.
When you did not have to worry about any technology such as TVs,CD's,DVD,s being obsolete in 10 years after spending your money on them? Blu-ray anyone?
