Michael Irvin, blue, after reading the Pearlman book at realizing how absolutely insane he was.

My daughters have Carey Price jerseys (red) that I bought them.

Evgeny Kuznetsov white Caps sweater a few years back at a game. It's nice to have a home and away sweater for going out to watch games. Prior to that, I bought a Roberto Pereyra Watford shirt but he left by the end of the year for Udinese so that was the end of my buying soccer shirts. They change the kits every damn year anyway. Bought a scarf when I was there earlier this month instead, since the colors and crest won't change, ha.

Can't see myself buying football or basketball jerseys. Or baseball.

Some Christmas 20 years ago-ish - started dtrinking, bing, bang boom, I ended up on-line and bought a replica LSU purple FB jersey the year they won the Natty in the Sugar Bowl. Still love those purple jerseys with the shoulder stripes.

Is there an age where you are too old to wear a jersey in public? Or even a hoodie?

I'm 45 and my winter coat is a hoodie, so I sure as hell hope not.

Jerseys? They're situational as you get older. I'll wear one on Sunday once in a while during football season. I think they're perfectly fine at a game or a sports bar. Maybe not so much as an everyday item, though.

Most recently, I got a Joel Embiid shirsey.

Last actual jersey was a Shota Dohbayashi Hiroshima one (don’t ask).

My son got me a Bill Walton throwback Blazers jersey for Christmas. That's pretty sweet.

That may be my only player-specific jersey. My last purchase was a Bob Marley edition Ajax third jersey, but no number or name on the back.

I have a credit for a free NBA jersey through Caesar's. Unless something else grabs me I'll get a JaVale McGee Suns jersey.

Last jersey bought was several years ago (maybe 10?) - a Ron Santo home Cubs. Usually only worn when at games.

I've often considered a Jim Bouton Seattle Pilots jersey, but can never make the leap. I never see myself in a basketball or football jersey.

Have owned two:

A Willie McGee home white Cardinals jersey.

A Michael Vick black Falcons jersey. That one got disposed of when he started wearing the prison orange unis.

That's how I feel. I essentially keep my Caps sweaters stashed away until the playoffs or unless I'm going to an actual game.

In about 2014, a friend gave us some Ducks jerseys from the 2003-06 range. Black with eggplant and silver. ANAHEIM across the chest. I wore it for a couple of years to games only. Nowhere else, not even to dinner before.
I wanted a more timely jersey. Ryan Kesler was the guy who turned the team into a Stanley Cup threat. My family gave me a KESLER 17 jersey with an A for just before the playoffs in 2017. Black with orange trim and the D logo, which I hate. I would have preferred the Duck mask logo that they have on the orange alternate jerseys. I've worn it ever since, to games only, not before or after. I have thought about getting the orange alternate, but rumors persist that new jerseys are coming. The owner is on the record saying he likes orange. So I will wait.
