I saw only a few minutes of this today, but it was pretty damn cool. Has there been much of a discussion on here about this station? I have only watched it a few times, but I have liked what I have seen. The Hot Stove report, with Reynold, Magrane and two other people I can't recall, was really good, but I haven't seen much else other than World Series replays. Anyone seen the Dream 9 or any of their other shows? I am really looking forward to the start of the season so I can watch more of this.

That's pretty amazing, isn't it? For about 15 years, I taped the All-Star Game and tucked the tapes away thinking, "I can't imagine being able to see Mays, Mantle, all those players play in the same game. I want to make sure my kids can see the legends from today."

Of course, my kids will probably turn out to be artists, and there will be no working VCRs left when they'd be old enough to care anyway. But dammit, I have trucked those tapes around for 20 years!

Years ago, I got to watch Game 7 of the 1952 Series (this was back before the classic sports channels). I thoroughly enjoyed seeing a game in which the only graphics were the guy's last name when they came to bat. It was a very unique viewing experience.

Plus, I found Red Barber's voice to be very relaxing. As someone who grew up after Barber stopped broadcasting, it was pretty cool to hear a voice that my father grew up listening to.
