The owlish one dubs this "the greatest spy movie ever made." I say Larry hasn't seen many spy movies.

Great cast, loads of hype, favorable early reviews ... and it b-l-o-w-s. One action scene, if you could call it that, in the entire movie. No pulse, no intrigue, no interesting characters.

I want my $8 back.

I believe he also said that a bowl of Edy's vanilla icecream he ate before bed last Tuesday night was the most divinely inspired concoction of frozen dairy he'd ever eaten. He then played with his suspenders and reminisced about the days he'd eat lunch at Duke Ziebert's Deli.

Which one of his wives do you think he would say has been his favourite?

Maybe it's long past time he paid back all the people he stiffed in his bankruptcy . . .

OUTING ALERT: Ben_Hecht is Rosie O'Donnell. :D

Ha.

I don't know Larry, but know a number of people who know him.

Sorry to hear that Rosie and I are sharing the same thoughts about ANYTHING, but in this case,
she would be dead-on.

I know people who know Larry, and he's said to have a terrible inadvertent gas-letting problem. He actually gets mad if you laugh.

This is why I keep coming back here.

Knowledge is power.

Is that why he's always leaning forward in his chair -- to make it easier to crank 'em out?

Wonder why the Beano people haven't stolen him away as a spokesman from Garlique.
