Spin-off from Paul Finebaum:

Who is the worst color analyst you've heard?

My choice: Gary Danielson, CBS. This guy is terrible on the air...I mean..awful.

After watching Jon Gruden a few times this season, I would be the first to agree that he needs to be euthanized.

Tom Hammond.

Against Michigan he called Jonas Mouton, James Mouton for the entire game. Even when Bob Davie had it right.

Nate Montana had thrown an interception and on the next drive threw a five yeard completion.

Hammond: It appears that Montana is finding his rhythm now.

Also, whoever was the ESPNU guy for Michigan/BGSU on Saturday was driving me nuts.

Announcer: The zone read is a staple of Michigan's offense.
Announcer: The QB iso is THE STAPLE of Michigan's offense.
Announcer: The rollout is becoming a staple of Michigan's offense

That's a lot of ****ing staples.

Whatever "analyst" they grab ass out of the ex-alum fanboy pile on Big Ten Network.

Anyone who has heard Jim Walden to Wazzu games would agree the guy is a piece of work.
The Raiders have had some awful color guys paired with Greg Papa - yet Papa still makes it work.

McCarver is a smart guy and knows his baseball, but he gets too cute for his own good when he strays from things not happening in front of him. Fox would be wise to send Joe Buck back to the NFL and have McCarver to pxp and have someone who knows hitting and strategy do the color.

Most of them Al Davis lackeys, like Jim Plunkett or Tom Flores, but what else would you expect from the Raiders?

My biggest problem with McCarver is he doesn't know when to stop making his point. After about the 10th explanation ... WE GET IT, MOVE ON! And Buck is just an embarassment.
