Jonathan Joss, the actor who voiced John Redcorn on King of the Hill, died Sunday after a shooting in San Antonio. He had just been in Austin a couple of days prior and was not happy about not being part of a panel about the reboot of KOTH. There's video of his ranting floating around out there.

Joss also allegedly burned down his own house in February by setting a fire in a BBQ pit to keep warm when the power was shut off, because the city deemed the house uninhabitable.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, officers have responded to Joss' address on Dorsey Drive over 40 times since January 2024, with calls connected to mental health disturbances, disturbance with neighbors, general disturbances, welfare checks and the fire reported in January. Police did not respond to any calls from February 2 to June 1. Neighbors had said he wasn't seen as much on the property after the fire.
