Apologies if it's a d_b, but Jim Mora's now looking for work. He and Fox Sports Radio have parted ways over the Michael Vick incident.

Discuss.

In responding to the "coach killer" comment, the elder Mora said, "I think you're correct. And it worries me a little because my son is the head coach down there, ya know? But he's a great athlete, my son likes him a lot, he's a good kid. But he's not a passer. And you need a passer at quarterback to be successful consistently in the National Football League. And he ain't getting it done in that category."

I guess you can't speak truth to power, when the power is the Michael Vick

Fox doesn't know diddly-poo about radio. Real horsesh_t effort on their part.

From what I read on this situation the problem came to existence due to FOX's distribution of the Mora on Vick audio. Mora was annoyed that FOX distributed it and FOX said it was normal. Mora, I think, ended up quitting.

Ah, the plot thickens.

What did Mora say?
"Vick is a coach killer."

he didn't actually say it. the guy mora did the show with threw that term out there, and mora didn't disagree. he took the ball and ran with it, but didn't actually utter the words.
