Proposed: Every uniform in every sport was better in 1965.
The NFL and Major League baseball were miles better 54 years ago.

I was watching nfl films last night, looking at the horrific Vikings numbering.

I don't know why some of these teams are reticent to go back to what was best or most notable for them.

Brewers should go back to the royal blue, yellow and powder blue.
Nuggets should bring back the rainbow.
Padres should either go back to the brown and yellow of 1984 or at least do the brown and orange of the late 80s.
The Mavericks, considering how many stupid jerseys the NBA has, should have at least one with the old M with a cowboy hat on.

The Pistons jerseys, Mavericks jerseys, THE WIZARDS DEBACLE.

What in the hell happened to people in the 90s and 00s??

Since I don't want to start a Stadium Nerds thread, I'll just say that I hate looking at Missouri's field.

Hate the font. Hate the slant. Hate that the numbers are so damn far apart.

Contrast that to what good field typography looks like. :)

The NCAA (and NFHSA) have 364 gajillion rules on everything else, you'd think they'd mandate specific fonts and size for yard line numerals.

(Actually I'm pretty sure the NFL does -- you don't see different yard line numerals from stadium to stadium.)

I am not familiar with this orange T-themed team. I am assuming this came from a movie or tv set. But I agree, the field and that checkerboard end zone look good.
A good college team should copy that and use it on Saturdays.

I’m sure that’s a Barstool set-up. They’re so high-larious and out there!
