You can't prove anyone is better than Utah this season. You can say Oregon State is better than USC.

No it is very hard to make that case given that Oregon State lost four times and USC lost just once -- meaning over 13 games USC played at a higher level and more consistently. Yes, they had an off night the night they happened to play at Oregon State -- but they only had one whereas Oregon State had four of them.

The same can be said of Florida and Mississippi.

Yep. If anyone's going to be ranked right behind those elite teams, it ought to be TCU, whose only losses are at Oklahoma (35-10) and at Utah (13-10) -- teams that are a combined 26-1.

yeah, but oklahoma played in an overrated conference. 1-3 really isn't that good, dog ... in case you were wondering.
