Oh Lord help us all if we forget the V-Day. We forget that, we're not seeing the V for quite a while.

Next Valentines, buy a carton of strawberries and then get the grocer to help you find the microwaveable chocolate to dip them in. It's dead easy - put the chocolate in a bowl, melt it, dip the berries, lay them on a plate to dry and harden in the refrigerator. This works best if it is a surprise, so do it on the sly. Then either bring them in to her or just leave them in the fridge to be found, depending on the time of day and schedules. Cheap and effective, plus you get extra credit for doing it yourself instead of buying them somewhere.
