The last time I was at my parents house, I discovered almost the same thing. Mom was out of milk, and I had already put the cereal in the bowl. Looked around in the fridge and there was a huge bottle of French vanilla coffee creamer. Figured what the hell and put it over the cereal.

Best bowl of cereal I've ever had.

I used to eat ice cream with Corn Flakes and Cheerios when I was a kid ...

If you're talking ice cream, someone bought these and had them in the house to make cookies:
Heath Milk Chocolate English Toffee Bits, 8 oz - Walmart.com

So I immediately served myself a huge bowl of ice cream and mixed them into the ice cream.
No cookies were made. The Heath Bar Bits were gone in three days.

I've found chocolate milk is also a very good alternative.

Even whole milk tastes like cream after years of 1%.
