It's up against an NFL game wherever cable has the NFL Network, so my guess is it won't match the ratings for the opening night Heat-Celtics game.

Texans-Eagles is a "meh" game ... but it will still be the default click for most of the country.

I'll turn on TNT to see the intros and the first couple min, then move on. .

I don't know about you, but I'm kinda rooting for something nutty to happen. Not anything like Monica Seles. But I could go for some crazy fan running onto the court and getting clotheslined by somebody.
This has happened a few times in college basketball, Duke I think started it and Maryland might have done it once.

The fans in the stands all have newspapers open and ignore the other team during the introductions.

Complete silence would be much more effective and profound than a chorus of "You Suck".

If a fan runs on the court, then he's free game...it would be nice to see another Jermaine O'Neal type of punch to a fan if he did get on the court ;-)

I also agree with you heyabbott complete silence would be way more effective.

What's the over/under that LeBron throws the chalk in the air?

You mean the odds he throws chalk? Over/under doesn't apply unless you're betting on how far in the air he throws the chalk or something like that.

The odds he does it are 1-50, I think.

It's Vick vs. the worst pass defense in the NFL. I may watch for that reason alone.

...and the Heat plane has a "wing-flap" issue. The drama never ends.

I look forward to watching this game while streaming Thursday Night Football on my PC. I want something nutty to happen. I want LeBron to get hit tomatoes and batteries. The I want someone to run on court and try to punch him like "Pistons-Pacers" and slip on the tomato juice.

How great would it be if he tore his ACL in warmups?
Nice.

How about LeBron is found with a dead girl or live boy in his hotel room?

It seems like Cleveland is prepared to show its ass on national TV. Both butt cheeks.

I hope it doesn't get too unruly.

It's going to be a disaster. Think of how they treated Albert Belle. And Art Modell. And, lest you think Cleveland only aims its ire at deserving carpet baggers, Jim Thome.

I suspect utter chaos.

If James has a breakaway dunk, you don't think someone will try to put him down, and put him down hard?

I think he plays like ass tonight - I don't think he is mentally tough enough to overcome the drama. I also hope that his **** is somehow broken.

BTW, this is going to make sports fans look like giant ****ing meathead goobers to non-sports-watching America when they tune in to the "Today Show" and other places tomorrow.
