Watched the Giants-Panthers game last night (on DVR so could skip commercials and some not all of Madden). Wonderful game. Great setting with the swirling winds, the frigid cold, the noise (Giants fans make great atmosphere, even on such a cold night). DeAngelo Williams is super quick into the hole; Steve Smith is one of the toughest little guys ever (sucker punch though, explains why Mushin is a captain and Smith isn't I guess).
Eli was pretty good; Boss was more clutch in one game than Shockey was for 3 years; loved watching Ward hit the holes fast and hard (contrast with Jacobs doing his Shaun Alexander imitation dancing everywhere but upfield). The offensive line just blew the Panthers line off the ball. Great shots too of the line from NBC.
The shots of Coughlin are great theatre; he looks like he's exasperated at all times.
Football does not get much better.
