Not to get into ... ah who am I kidding. Alabama's law is racist garbage and the biggest embarrassment to the state this side of the Selma marches. It won't get fixed until someone rolls the Tide with the Latino Sam Cunningham.

Is the kid legal or not? The article doesn't make it clear, even though the family says he is.

That doesn't appear to be entirely clear. It would seem that he can't prove that he's legal, which is the problem.

This is an important issue. Lord knows how many plain old Samoans are in this country are illegally passing them off as extra special American Samoans.

Okay, it's political now. So is it also racist that when I check into a hotel or get pulled over by the police that I must show my driver's license? MY GOD! What a ****ing racist, that hotel clerk made me PROVE where I live!!

I have been involved in, not one but two, wrecks with illegal immigrants. Guess who paid for my vehicle? You guessed it, yours truly.

So **** the sons-uh-******* who are here illegally and can't obtain a legal driver's license.

If you want to really get into the bull**** we as Americans have to go through, we can...but I will refrain for now.

It's racist when a cop asks someone with brown skin for papers when they are less likely to ask whitey for the same.

Why does a hotel clerk need to know where you live? Why are you so willing to give up your freedoms?

Stay off the grid, bro.

I'm glad young 'un refrained. I would hate to see him post wildly and passionately.

So, the law enforcement officers are racist, not the laws. Gotcha. What's different about Alabama and Los Angeles, then? Kthankbye.

That has nothing to do with theses moronic laws.

Thanks to these laws, Vidalia onion prices might jump 10 percent this year. That alone makes it a bad law.

I doubt immigration causes as many problems as you think it does. In all likelihood, immigrants are helping you.

BTW, I'm guessing the kid is in the States illegally, or he could get replacement immigration documents.

Spoken like someone who's never had to deal with USCIS.
