1992 called, and they want the hairdo back.

What 18 year old kid doesn't think that banging the cheerleader coach is a fantasy made real? She's not that bad looking, even if I have seen better driver's license pictures.

He told investigators that Rufener performed oral sex on him, and that they also had sexual intercourse.

He told authorities that he and Rufener engaged in the same sexual acts on the two other occasions, as well.

Same old same old. Mix it up, young people!!

Honestly, I don't understand the no-contact order that is in place. The kid is an adult (and was at the time of the incidents) and she no longer works for the school district. On what grounds can a court order these two to stay away from each other if (hypothetically) they want to pursue a relationship?

They can make anything they want a condition of probation. Your alternative is jail.

So an 18 year old adult is classified as a "battered victim" because he got blown by a 26-year-old cheerleading coach?

And sounds like it happened late spring of his senior year, if these fools would've just waited another month or so until he graduated all would've been cool and legal, right? Might've made for a sweet graduation night gift.

I'd normally agree with you, but as a condition of probation rather than jail time, I think it works. They could re-start the relationship in a year, but I don't think there was a "relationship" to begin with, considering she moved back to Ohio.

Yeah, I was just looking at it from a hypothetical perspective. Sounds like they both just wanted a little action.
