I watched the pilot this morning. It was very good. It should be a good show.

Doesn't the guy who got blown up during last season's Grey's play the head coach?

I saw the pilot too, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'm wondering how much a non-high school football fan will, though.

Yes, Doc, it's the same guy.

I've got Tuesdays off now, so I'm looking forward to it.

It's got to be better than the movie.

I haven't seen the show yet, and don't have much to say, but I just figured I ought to weigh in here.

I know the reviews are fantastic, but I can't imagine them being able to pull this off for more than a few episodes.

Can you get 20 hour-long episodes about a football team?

Ask the boys in Hoover that one.

I kind of like that show.

Okay, I really like that show. I'm fighting the urge to do a google search to find out how the season ends.

I don't know why, but I can't get enough of that show. Hoover was just on TV last night on ESPNU. And they lost 28-14 for their first loss of the season.

From what I have read, there will be very little actual football. It's going to mostly be about relationships.

Whatever that means.

Well, then there's going to be some change from the pilot. Because the pilot was very much about the game. Last 20 minutes WERE the game.

Like I said, I liked it, but I have my doubts about its mass appeal.

It's supposed to be about West Texas football and it is/was taped in Austin... I call bull****. I'm sure this won't matter to many, but having seen West Texas football, it's gonna be real hard to watch knowing there ARE NO TREES in West Texas

Just watched it in parts over on nbc.com and I enjoyed it.
I'll try to watch it when I'm not working.
