Please pardon the nostalgia post.

The Johnny Cash song "I've Been Everywhere" comes to mind when I review some of the places that have provided freelance gigs since I left the ranks of the employed in October 2016. Thanks to the Muck Rack site, my awful old guy memory has been sufficiently reminded of places that paid me to write. There might well be a few other sites that I passed through that I can't recall. The last five listed respond with the dreaded "404" when I click on stories listed on Muck Rack. The seven newspapers that employed me are still limping along.
