We are seeking an intern to join the FOX Sports South Web sites for the fall in Atlanta. It's a very hands-on opportunity with a chance to be on camera, write and be on podcasts. Job Description
FOX Sports South is seeking a dedicated intern to join the digital team. The internship will include assisting in the following areas:

1. Web site management: FOX Sports South has three properties, FOXSportSouth.com, FOXSportsCarolinas.com and FOXSportsTennessee.com

2. Video/Audio production: Web-exclusive content as well as audio editing for podcasts.

3. Written content: Surrounds MLB (Braves), NBA (Grizzlies, Hawks, Hornets), NHL (Hurricanes, Predators), WNBA (Dream) and college (ACC) products.

4. Social media: Posting Web team's content – written, videos, podcasts) to social media channels

RESPONSIBILITIES

Web site management
Post stories from partner teams' sites as well as relevant content from other FOX Sports sites in deadline-driven environment

Post videos from production team (i.e. pre- and postgame shows, original programming, etc.)

Video/audio production

Shoot, edit and appear in Web-exclusive videos for use on FOX Sports South's family of sites that offer both analysis and drive tune-in information

Includes posting of videos to FOX Sports South sites as well as social channels (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter)

Offer analysis in and edit podcasts revolving around multiple sports

Written content
Supply game coverage, features, news stories revolving around partner teams

Post content to Web sites and share via social channels
Qualifications

• Must be a sophomore, junior or senior. Preferred major in Communications/Journalism. Production or communications and/or prior media or sports experience preferred.
• Experience editing video (i.e. Premiere Pro) and audio (Audacity).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Good organizational and project coordination skills required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and Outlook is required.
• Must be able to perform in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Familiarity with Fox Sports brand and general sports knowledge is helpful.

Environment
The intern will primarily work in an office environment, but it will also be necessary to occasionally work in the field to include live sporting and media events. This can include evenings and weekends. Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week for up to 10 weeks.

We are still writing at South. Yes, it's with a smaller staff, but we've continued to produce our own written content.
