No El Tigre on the 20th anniversary(!) of the tournament that changed the sport.

D.J. is the clear favorite. Rory still seeking the career slam he already should have. Phil has been playing well and could make a run. My boy Jordan will be answering questions all week about No. 12 on Sunday last year.

It's the best week of the sport of the year. Who ya got?

I'll stick with my guy that I have the past few years. 2-1-2 on a course that's built for him.

So tough to pick against D.J. And if the course is wet and playing long? I'll take D.J. by three shots.

Just a quick thread-jack rather than starting a whole new golf thread.

Anyone see what happened to Lexi Thompson today? Another call-in ruling from the couch. A caller said she mis-marked her ball during the round on SATURDAY.

Lexi was given a four-shot penalty on the 13th hole on SUNDAY. Lost in a playoff.

Total bull****. All the tours need to shut this down. Let the rules officials and fellow players take care of it. Complete bull****.

Back to the Masters. Along with D.J., seems like Rory is due.

Also love Jason Day, but not sure how focused he can be with his mom's failing health.

I look forward to the week of the toonahment more than any other on the calendar. For example, I watched a lot of the Drive Chip and Putt Championship today. If it was held anywhere else, I doubt I'd pay it any mind.

DJ is so hot ... which means he won't win. Might be Rory's time but I still wonder if the place is in his head a little. If I was spreading around a few bucks, I'd get some on Bubba. I don't think he's done collecting jackets.

I see no one is picking the defending champ. Has Willett broken 75 since last April? Wouldn't get very good odds on DJ. Second-hottest golfer, Jon Rahm, might be worth a small investment.

I like the azaleas.

Like them even more when Rory is knee deep in them.

My sister lives in Augusta and said the big story a couple of weeks ago was that unseasonably warm March weather had made the azaleas bloom early, leading to much worry that they would not still be in bloom for Masters week.

Something to keep an eye on.

A friend did invest in Rahm last week in the desert, getting 25-1. That struck me as too low for a Masters rookie no matter how hot he's been.

Just checked the odds again. Rahm down to 18-1. No bet. However, Thomas Pieters and Koepka are 65-1, an attractive price for pure speculation.

The new Masters press building (as the Lords of Augusta prefer to call it). Good heavens. The scribes even have their own locker rooms, though I'm not sure why. You're not getting in a quick nine after filing your story.
