I suppose in Baron's world that's a relevant analogy.
Here's a woman who is suing the company for firing her for uninstalling an app that let her employer keep track of her whereabouts all 24 hours.

All it takes is just one person to bring up overtime provisions.

**** him in the ass.
He should have gotten a union job with a contract which gave him specific protection and an appeals/grievance process for situations like this.
Otherwise, at-will employment.
**** him in the ass. Hasta la vista, ****nuts.
Think I may go lead an anti-immigration rally. Not because I'm anti-immigration, but because it just sounds fun. I'm sure my employer won't mind, but even it does, **** 'em ... I'm off the clock!
And when the boycotts of that business start, what do you think happens to DQ's job?

Good lord Baron, wake up.
Show me this constitutional right you speak of.
I know someone who is a GM at a Pepsi bottling plant, same thing. But a low level employee shouldn't be held to that standard. You want loyalty, you pay for it.I have a good friend who works for a big, big Anheuser-Busch distributor. I'd guess he pulls down $200K+ ... If someone at his firm saw him drinking a Coors Light, he'd be fired by the next morning.
He really needs to talk to his firm about overtime.
