What's the over-under for what date he'll "unretire" and what's the line on what team he'll come back to play for this time around? I want to place my bet.

I'm going to buck the odds and say he unretires this Friday. That way people will talk about him doing something different for a while. When that interest starts to fade, he'll not show up at camp, leading to even more talking. He'll then send out a note to ESPN about a major announcement the night before the regular season kicks off, which will be about his new product endorsement.

It will soon be revealed that as part of a new contract for this season between the Vikings and Favre, the Vikings proposed new stadium will be called "Brett Favre Field" and Favre has agreed to go in to the HOF as a Viking.

Someone in Favre's family told a Mississippi media outlet that the veteran QB hasn't made a decision.

Look, you can make the argument that this is a very big deal, but I watched a ****ing hour of SportsCenter this morning and not once did they talk about ANYTHING else. That box on the left screen just sat there with the Albert Haynesworth update box and Ryan Howard injury box changing only from three stories away to four stories away.

And after talking to Trent Dilfer and Jon Gruden in consecutive segments -- and I have no idea who before that or after that, because I had more than enough of the Favre Spoogefest -- Cowherd was one segment away from shanghaing people in the street or in the ESPN cafeteria line to talk about this.

Does ESPN realize its becoming a parody of itself every time it does this?
