Myspace is OK because it allows you to really customize it. But other than that, it's garbage b/c of spyware, the ads, spam profiles and the level of extreme shallow-ness displayed by many users. At least Facebook appears a little more mature and discrete while giving you more control over who can see your profile.

MySpace. I have never understood Facebook and it annoys me I can't see pictures without being somehow networked to people.

Facebook ... because people can't see my pictures without somehow being networked to me. :D

It's great. The people I've found, the people I get to chat with, the groups I'm in ... they're far more relevant to me than any account I may have had at Myspace.

Facebook.

Myspace sucks donkey nuts.

Ugly pages with god knows what on them, spyware, perverts, etc. etc.

I only use MySpace to talk to friends from college, some family members and a few high school friends. I have never really been into finding new people on that site.
Also, it is useful to find stuff out about athletes.

Facebook. Not nearly the number of weirdos or obscene propositions.

Although nobody on either site can see my profile without my permission, so that's not a factor for me.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change.
A buddy of mine in his early 40s is never lacking for slutty young chicks in his life, thanks to MySpace. It's a little repulsive, but he really has the whole process down to an art.

There's also Nexopia which appears to be hot among the teen set.

No surprise there. Once people my age start using a site, that pretty much means the kids have moved on.

Nexopia has been around for as long as Myspace.

Facebook owns MySpace. Half the time you can't get anywhere on MySpace because of site maintenance and crap like that. Facebook rarely has problems like that. Facebook, hands down.

I don't use either site to social network. I use MySpace to discover some good new music, so my vote goes to MySpace.

I've never used myspace, but that's because I figure I waste enough time on facebook and spend a lot of time here. Facebook seems simpler. You get the info you want easier and without music and wallpapers. The new applications on facebook allow you to do myspace type stuff ( i think) with adding favorites and other stuff. I'm not a huge fan of allowing HS kids to join it, but what can ya do?
